Phra U Baa Koot was the interpreter for Lord Buddha and this very special monk like to meditate inside the water. He was also known as "Bua Khim" Needle of the Lotus by the Thai belief. You may see the Turtle & the fish made with it at the back of this Statue and there was also a lotus leaf on his head. Its was believed that when he got up from the water after his meditation there was alot of lotus plant over his head. |
